Filipino pole vaulter Ernest John "EJ" Obiena announced that he is not taking part in the upcoming World Indoor Championships in Belgrade, Serbia next week.
"I have not been endorsed for the Worlds. Registration is now closed," he wrote on his Facebook page on Saturday night. "I won't be attending. I am the only top-ranked vaulter not participating."
