ELEVEN engineering students from the Ilocos-based Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU) took part in an online exchange program with the Ashikaga University (AU) in Japan, according to the MMSU Strategic Communication (StratCom) office.

According to Daniel Tapaoan Jr., MMSU information officer, said the Sakura Science Exchange Program which is an online training workshop on renewable energy was sponsored by the Japan Science and Technology Agency or JSTA with AU as its delivering institution.
