Public trust and the automated election system

MESSAGES about massive cheating in the upcoming 2022 national and local elections were circulated via messenger apps over the weekend.

An unidentified individual, the source of one message, claimed that he discussed the matter with accredited citizens' arms, the National Citizens' Movement for Free Elections (Namfrel) and the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV). The source failed to provide details on how the cheating will be carried out but said that the same concern has been shared by a group of retired and active military and police officers. Namfrel has denied participating in any such discussion.
