GENERAL Santos City: Presidential candidate and Sen. Panfilo "Ping" Lacson has resigned as chairman of the Partido Reporma chairman and standard-bearer after party leaders have decided to support another candidate.
There were unconfirmed reports that the Partido Reporma has junked Lacson in favor of fellow presidential candidate Vice President Maria Leonor "Leni" Robredo.
