BACOLOD CITY: With thousands attending simultaneous kick-off rallies in Bacolod City on Saturday, March 26, the Commission on Elections (Comelec) in Negros Occidental reminded local candidates to follow health protocols imposed by the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases during political rallies.

Lawyer Robert Salazar, provincial election supervisor, told The Manila Times that all candidates and parties "should observe minimum health standards and protocols as mandated by the IATF."
