MIDSAYAP, North Cotabato: The Commission on Elections (Comelec) conducted its "Oplan Baklas" for the first time in Kidapawan City on Friday and removed all election campaign materials placed on trees and electric posts.
Kidapawan City elections officer Angelina Failano reminded all candidates and supporters that posting election posters on trees is strictly prohibited by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR).
