'TWAS called a telesummit, what took place between Chinese President Xi Jinping and Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte on Friday, April 8. But for the continuing protocols of the Covid-19 pandemic, the event was no less significant than what it should have been if carried out in a face-to-face manner.

According to Malacañang, the summit, no matter that its venue was limited to the internet, was "open, warm and positive" that lasted for one hour.
