What was that all about?

KUDOS to Philippine Sports Commission Chairman Butch Ramirez for job well done in mediating between pole vaulter EJ Obiena and Patafa President Popoy Juico. While others wanted and intended the squabble to continue, for whatever reason, Butch, Attorney Iroy, PSC Board and even some minority members of the Senate sincerely suggested that the mediation must continue and possibly the only way to stop the circus. Personally, I wanted this brouhaha to end so we in the media don't have to write about it anymore. We're just glad our sports loving people can stop laughing at us, the leaders, now. Next time, try the original Manokan Country in Bacolod. It has more pride than Mang Inasal here in Manila. For EJ, let the Games begin. For POC, why not try UNITY?
