THE Philippines has made huge strides in terms of having women having heavy influence in decision-making that is being wielded across more platforms of power, according to the World Economic Forum's 2021 Global Gender Gap Report.

According to the report, the country is ranked second in the Asia-Pacific region and the 17th globally to close the gender gap, which shows strong signs that the Philippines encourages more women to lead and become something even more.
