MONEY sent home by overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) went up by 1.2 percent in February, data released by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) on Monday showed.

Personal remittances — cash or kind transfers between families — totaled $2.79 billion during the month, up from the $2.75 billion in the same month last year.
