THE Philippines' fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry is expected to recover this year, aided by new Filipino shopping habits established during the pandemic, insights and consulting company Kantar said.

In a briefing on Thursday, Lourdes Deocareza-Lozano, Kantar Philippines business director at the Worldpanel Division, said that given the projected economic recovery this year, Kantar also sees some degree of recovery in terms of shopping frequency.
