THE Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) said with the Philippine National Police (PNP) Anti-Cybercrime Group, it filed a criminal complaint against an individual who was spotted on social media burning a Philippine banknote.
In a statement on Saturday, it said a complaint was filed with the Office of the City Prosecutor in Quezon City against 24-year-old alias "Jam Jaren" for violating Presidential Decree (PD) 247, Article 154 of the Revised Penal Code, as amended, and Republic Act (RA) 10175, or the "Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012."
