Virtual convergence of Mindanao architects

THE Area D Assembly is a mandated event of the United Architects of the Philippines (UAP) that brings together architects from all over Area D, which comprises the whole geographical region of Mindanao, under one venue. Held annually, it enables Mindanao architects to converge and exchange ideas regarding matters affecting the profession as well as monitor the implementation of the organization's projects and programs in the Area.

In the past, the assembly was a much-awaited activity. For most architects in Mindanao, it was a time for rest and relaxation as it was usually held in one of the island's major tourist destinations. Aside from being a venue for delegates to discuss and come up with policies and viewpoints on certain issues, it also gave them an opportunity to touch base with fellow architects from other chapters and, at the same time, visit other locales.
