Mayoral bet to enforce 'one strike policy' vs govt employees

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan: Mayoral candidate Maila Rosario Ting-Que underscored in her campaign speeches that she will enforce a 'one strike policy' on erring government employees if she wins in the May 9 election.

"I-implement po natin ang one strike policy upang mapanatili ang ating adhikain na good governance at transparency," Ting-Que, whose campaign thrust is to improve the government system by removing public servants who abuse authority, said.
