Robredo challenges Marcos to a debate

VICE President Maria Leonor "Leni" Robredo on Friday challenged the leading presidential candidate Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. to a debate "anytime, anywhere," but Marcos' camp replied that "it will never happen."

"Inaanyayahan ko si Ginoong Bongbong Marcos na makipagdebate, para mabigyan ang taumbayan ng pagkakataong makaharap siya at matanong tungkol sa mga kontrobersiyang pumapalibot sa kanya (I am inviting Mr. Bongbong Marcos to participate in a debate so that the public may see him and ask him questions regarding the allegations leveled against him)," Robredo said in a statement.
