China's stance on Ukraine serves world's fundamental interests

BEIJING: The Ukraine crisis has dragged on for over two months with no immediate solution in sight. Though the situation unfolding is worrisome, endeavors to end conflicts and restore peace have never stopped.

Since the start of the crisis, China has been making unremitting efforts to defuse tensions and working actively to promote dialogue between Russia and Ukraine, voicing its support for peace and doing its best for talks.
