Eight political parties belonging to the UniTeam Alliance of presidential frontrunner Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. and his running mate Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte asked the Commission on Elections (Comelec) to ensure honest, orderly and peaceful elections on May 9.

The eight, led by Marcos' Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) and Duterte-Carpio's Lakas Christian-Muslim-Democrats (Lakas-CMD), made the appeal in a joint manifesto, which was also supported by Hugpong ng Pagbabago, Nacionalista Party, Partido ng Masang Pilipino, National Unity Party, PDP-Laban and Reform Party.
