FORMER senator Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. won the Philippines' presidential election on Monday, as he mounted an unassailable lead over his nearest rival, Vice President Maria Leonor " Leni" Robredo.
With more than 95.80 percent of ballots processed, Marcos, the standard-bearer of the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas, secured 30,467,076 votes as of 7:32 a.m Tuesday, based on the partial and unofficial figures.
