"X-Factor UK" and" The Voice of the Philippines" contender Alisah Bonaobra has indeed come a long way from her humble first step towards her dream.
She started out at an early age by joining various singing contests in Metro Manila as well as distant provinces and bagging awards from them. These singing contests helped develop her talent and confidence, and the prize money she got for winning was a big help to her hardworking sidewalk vendor-parents.
