The Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt met the representative officers from the Bangsamoro Liaison Officer in Metro Manila (BLOMM) on April 11 and 19.
The representative of the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos handed over a gift from Minister of Endowment (Awqaf), the Holy Quran, Islamic and Shari'ah books on the occasion of the Holy Month of Ramadan, ushering stronger ties and relationship between the two countries. Connected for so many decades now, it is worth mentioning that the current Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines in Cairo, Ezzedin Tago, is half Filipino and half Egyptian.
