MALACAÑANG on Monday released a circular mandating franchise holders of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to provide additional requirements such as registration of franchise agreements and the creation of a Franchise Registry.
Signed by President Rodrigo Duterte last May 12, Executive Order (EO) 169 aims to strengthen the franchising industry and add a layer of protection for the MSMEs.
