LEGAZPI CITY: Science and Technology Secretary Fortunato de la Peña bestowed the country's first Heroes Award to Albay Second District Rep. Jose Maria Clemente "Joey" Salceda for championing science and technology innovations and legislative agenda that boost the country's economy and national development.
De la Peña said the department conferred the Department of Science and Technology's (DoST) first heroes award to Salceda for pioneering a remarkable legislative agenda and for his untiring effort in facilitating the passage of important science, technology and innovation (STI) legislation to support various STI programs and projects.
