House of Representatives' Majority Leader and Leyte 1st District Rep. Ferdinand Martin Romualdez plans to work on strengthening the unity and bond amid the work facing the 19th Congress.
Romualdez is a contender for Speaker, having the support of the National Unity Party (NUP), Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban), Nacionalista Party, Party-list Coalition Foundation Inc., incumbent Speaker Lord Allan Velasco and former president Gloria Macapagal Arroyo.
