'Sskait' comic artist releases new book

Independent comic artist and illustrator Allan Jeffrey "AJ" Bacar — who has gone viral online for his works under "Sskait comics" — is back to serve more laughs and retable content with his sophomore release, The Dad, Daddy, and Baby Story. "I think people have been busy and occupied in their own business; through this book I hope to give them comic relief so they could chill and laugh," the artist, who started his Sskait comics in 2016, shared.

The book comes after Bacar's debut titled Man vs Ipis, published in 2018. The Dad, Daddy, and Baby Story follows a young couple as they attempt to navigate the early stages of a relationship. Through several attempts to hide the relationship from the girl's parents, the audience is taken on a humorous roller coaster ride packed with endearing backstories, relatable characters and the occasional naughty quip.
