The House of Representatives on Monday adopted a resolution to convene with the Senate in a joint session to canvass the votes cast for President and Vice President in the 2022 elections.

The House adopted House Concurrent Resolution 26 which provides that the House and the Senate "hold a joint public session to canvass the votes cast" for president and vice president and proclaim the president-elect and vice-president elect.
