THE Filipino tradition of Santacruzan is allowed in areas in the country that are under Alert Level 1, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) said on Sunday.
In an interview with The Manila Times, DILG Undersecretary for Barangay Affairs Martin Diño said the tradition, which was suspended in the last two years because of restrictions brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic, can be done for as long as organizers and participants follow health and safety protocols.
