AS ongoing factors continue hounding the industry, ING Group's global think tank (ING Think) advises companies that they should plan even further ahead as global supply chains are expected to remain under pressure in 2022.

According to its new report, global merchandise trade faces many headwinds this year as global supply chains continue to be strained because of the war in Ukraine, China's zero-Covid policy, and various delays and protracted supply shortages.
