2022 election results: Credible or not?

ISSUES surrounding the 2020 election results have been discussed in various groups and forums that had been quickly organized after the elections. Participants were quick to ask if there was fraud in the elections. Explanations from resource persons were not to the satisfaction of the participants.

To a number of observers, the fast transmission rate of election results was unbelievable. Data shows that within the first four hours after the close of polls on May 9, 2022, over 80 percent of election returns had been received through the transparency-media server. When compared with the 2019 transmission rates, however, the data shows that the 2022 transmission rate was a tad slower than in 2019. The fast transmission of election returns in 2019 was not observed because of the seven-hour glitch.
