PHILIPPINE shares climbed on Thursday as the government transitions to another administration.

The 30-member Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) gained 47.76 points, or 0.72 percent, to close at 6,645.52 while the broader all shares index went up by 14.61 points, or 0.41 points, to finish at 3,568.65.
