SEN. Sherwin Gatchalian vowed to continue pursuing reforms in the country's education system as he gets to keep the chairmanship of the Senate Committee on Basic Education, Arts and Culture in the 19th Congress.

The senator, who got a renewed mandate in the 2022 elections, said that among his priorities are the full resumption of face-to-face classes, the review of the K-to-12 system and upholding the welfare of teachers.
