ASIAN governments should be "very careful" about raising taxes given growth uncertainties, a senior Asian Development Bank (ADB) economist said on Monday.

Park Donghyun, principal economist at the ADB's Macroeconomics and Finance Research Division, said in a webinar that "we have to be careful about predicting Asia's medium and long-term growth prospects from the last couple of years, which have been very, very unusual."
