FIVE members of the bandit Abu Sayyaf Group surrendered to state troops in Sulu on Sunday, the Philippine Military said on Tuesday.
According to the statement from the military, members of the 45th Infantry Battalion under the 1103rd Infantry Brigade facilitated the surrender of the former violent extremists.
