A TOP executive of the International Peace Bureau (IPB) on Tuesday called for an immediate ceasefire in the Russia-Ukraine war, as he registered his opposition to the planned expansion of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) in Asia.
IPB Executive Director Reiner Braun, a German peace activist, told the Pandesal Forum of the Kamuning Bakery in Quezon City that Western economic sanctions against Russia would not be a good idea.
