THE Marcos administration plans to set up a 24/7 electronic-government (e-government) service so Filipinos can do business with the government anytime of the day, and any day of the week.

In an interview with The Manila Times, incoming Information and Communications Secretary Ivan Uy said that as it is, people not only have to stand in long lines at government facilities for transactions like permits, but also have to be absent from work because of the long wait.
