CARLA Abellana has broken her silence about her rumored breakup with husband Tom Rodriguez.The GMA Network artists were a couple for seven years even before they tied the knot in October 2021. However, rumors of their breakup started only 3 months later when they unfollowed each other on Instagram.Neither Abellana nor Rodriguez published any official statement but netizens have been eagle-eyed on their social media posts and activities, getting clues from their IG stories or posts they have liked.Rodriguez posted cryptic photos of breaking free from the hand chain and one that showed an explosion. In a now deleted post, he also claimed in the comment section that he was allegedly given a gag order, forbidding him to speak up about the matter.Abellana, meanwhile, has set the internet on fire after liking several posts regarding cheating.But in a first since their alleged separation, Abellana directly addressed the issue.In one of her YouTube videos, a random commenter asked Abellana why would she fuel separation speculations with her behavior on Instagram if she doesn't want negativity in the first place.'Nag like po ako pero hindi ko po ginawa ng paulit-ulit at ng matagal. Ang taong lubos na nasaktan hirap pong pigilang hindi ilabas ang galit sa anumang paraan (I pressed like but I did not do it repeatedly and lengthily)', referring to the negative comments about Rodriguez.Abellana said she was 'disrespected... betrayed... lied to... used... shamed... made to look so stupid'.The 36-year-old said she gave nothing but true love, respect, care and understanding to her husband.Posting her message in Filipino, Abellana said she faced Rodriguez at the altar with 'all her heart and determination to take care of their union, love and promise made before God'.She said she had given her husband 'so much that nothing was left for her'.She said she allowed Rodriguez to take away her 'anger, pride and ego' and even 'fought for him beyond the seven years that they were together'.Abellana then said that liking negative comments about Tom is nothing compared to the mistreatment that she endured from him.Abellana ended her statement by saying that she is not a bad person as what she had been made to look at in the media and that what people see online is just a fraction of what actually happened.Reports have claimed that Abellana is filing for annulment.
