Accretion may be lost by prescription

Dear PAO,

Jose claimed that the land I occupied was accretion to his registered land. According to him, his registered land was adjoining Waig River, and the land which was occupied by my family was the result of gradual deposits brought about by the current of the river. Further, he said that as a riparian owner, he automatically owns the land or the same was considered as registered in his name, so he wanted me to vacate it immediately. I did not heed his demand because I have been claiming this land since 1986. Who has better right on this land?|
