He's still alive: Filipino shot in Philadelphia fights for life

The sister of John Albert "Jal" Laylo, who was critically injured in the shooting in Philadelphia on Saturday, said that her brother is still alive.

"My brother isn't medically pronounced as brain dead," tweeted Althea on Sunday. "He has no more reflexes, but there is still one part of his brain that is functioning. It would mean a lot to my family that instead of condolences, we get prayers. Let us please hope for a miracle together."
