MUCH of my attention over the past week has been directed toward the Asia Clean Energy Forum (ACEF) 2022, an annual conference put on by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) since 2006, and this year held online, as has become the way of things in our post-Covid world.

On a side note, I don't like that way of things, and I'm sure I do not need to get into a lengthy explanation about it, because I cannot recall ever hearing someone say they prefer to have meetings or attend events via Zoom (or Webex, or Microsoft Teams, or whatever your preferred poison is) over having normal human interactions. I miss things like having to put on shoes and drinking endless cups of crappy conference room coffee, and I think having those things taken away from us makes us poorer communicators and less productive.
