BACOLOD CITY: Negros Occidental Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson said he is "excited" over the possible realization of the Negros Island Region (NIR) and the Panay-Guimaras-Negros Bridge (PGNB).
Lacson's statements came after Bacolod City Mayor-elect Alfredo "Albee" Benitez said the reestablishment of NIR and the construction of the PGNB have the support of President-elect Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.
