CHET Holmgren was supposed to be the next unicorn. A 7-1 beanpole, he was often compared with our very own Kai Sotto. Most projections have him at No.1, and he does have the most upside of the big men in this draft. So why did the Orlando Magic pass on him?

The last time a highly talented prospect was passed over for being too thin was in the 2007 NBA Draft, where there were questions on whether Kevin Durant from the University of Texas could survive at the next level. Because of these questions, the Portland Trail Blazers and a larger chunk of sports pundits who would be willing to admit, chose the "sure thing" by picking the big center.
