THIS will be my dream scenario: the winningest coach of the PBA would somehow convince my favorite NBA team to include Kai Sotto in its Summer League lineup and he'd eventually ball out for the Miami Heat and the country's hope of a first Filipino-born player in the NBA will finally happen.
Sotto not being selected in the 2022 NBA Draft is in no way a dead end for our 7-foot-3 (and growing) wunderkind and if there's a team that always recognizes diamonds in the rough that's the franchise run by the Godfather himself, Pat Riley, and coach Erik Spoelstra, our very own kababayan.
