PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr. said during his inauguration on Thursday that his call for unity during the campaign "reverberated and amplified" to deliver the biggest electoral mandate in the history of Philippine democracy.

"You, the people, have spoken and it is resounding," said Marcos who won last month's elections by a landslide, securing the biggest victory since his father Ferdinand Marcos Sr. was ousted by a popular revolt in 1986.
