SEN. Christopher Lawrence "Bong" Go on Thursday took part in two historical events as he joined then outgoing president Rodrigo Duterte on his last day at Malacañan Palace and witnessed Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. take his oath as the 17th President of the Republic at the National Museum in Manila.

"We have now started a new chapter in our country's history. We are now under a new administration after our new leader, President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr., took his oath. Together, we welcome and support the new administration in leading the Filipino people in the next six years," said Go.
