THE Philippine Catholic Church and the laity criticized the re-filing at the House of Representatives a bill seeking to legalize divorce in the country.
Fr. Jerome Secillano, Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) Public Affairs Committee Executive Secretary, said divorce will only further damage the foundation of the family.
