THERE is a new book about Magellan's voyage that is said to analyze the leadership of the navigator that discovered the Philippines on his way to the Spice Islands, i.e., the Moluccas. It is titled Beyond the Myth of Magellan by Felipe Fernandez Armesto. The Philippine Map Collectors Society (Phimcos) had a Zoom webinar about it recently which I attended and found out about the book.
