CAMP NAVARRO, Calarian, Zamboanga City: A suspected carrier of an improvised explosive device (IED) was killed by military troops in Basilan on Thursday.
Brig. Gen. Domingo Gobway, commander of Joint Task Force (JTF) Basilan, identified the neutralized individual as Adil Akarab, an alleged member of a lawless element and armed terrorist group.
