THE Philippine Postal Corp. (PHLPost) is coordinating with village offices to organize a weekend "plaza-type" distribution of unclaimed Philippine Identification (PhilID) cards.

Postmaster General and Chief Executive Officer Norman Fulgencio said PHLPost and the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) discussed doing the "plaza" or cluster type delivery. In this system, PhilIDs will be grouped according to villages or clusters and delivery will be scheduled at a specified location to be coordinated with local government units or village officials, to be undertaken by letter carrier/s and other assigned post office employees.
