Proponents of the Vape Bill in the 18th Congress welcomed the measure's lapsing into law, saying it will cut smoking and help save the lives of millions of smokers in the Philippines.
Republic Act 11900, or the Vaporized Nicotine and Non-nicotine Products (VNNP) Regulation Act, regulates the importation, manufacturing, sale, distribution and use of vaping products such as heated tobacco products (HTPs) and e-cigarettes. Various sectoral groups consider it a "historic" legislative public health action.
