THE Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Saturday that Tropical Depression "Ester" is forecast to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) either Sunday morning or afternoon.

Accelerating while moving westward over the Philippine Sea east of extreme Northern Luzon, Ester is likely to decelerate north-northwestward in the next 12 hours, the state-run weather agency said in its 11 a.m. advisory.
