BANGKO Sentral ng Pilipinas Governor Felipe Medalla sees the Philippine economy expanding by 8 to 9 percent in the second quarter of the year.
"Maybe it can't be about 9 to 8 percent. The problem is that the second half will be slower. That is why my own personal forecast is seven for the year," he told reporters over the weekend.
